CosMedix Blueberry Jessner Peel is a twist on the traditional Jessner solution. Combining 14% L-Lactic Acid, 14% Salicylic Acid and 14% Resorcinol providing superficial to medium depth exfoliation. Plus Blueberry extract protects against free radical damage. The use of Chiral acids plus antioxidants and a higher pH makes the solution less aggressive than most Jessner peels. Reducing the risk of secondary concerns such as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The Blueberry Jessner is even suitable for Mediterranean, Indian and Black skin.

The Blueberry Jessner Peel can be used alone (layered) or as a peel booster, to increase the penetration of other peels (prices vary depending on usage). The intensity is directly linked to the number of layers applied.
Due to the high strength of this treatment, there is some prep involved including the use of Vitamin A and AHA’s in your home care programme. Prep time will vary depending on the skins Fitzpatrick types and may also need to include additional tyrosinase inhibitors to help to build skins tolerance and regulate pigment, reducing the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH).
