Redness and rosacea are among the most common skincare concerns I hear about from patients. Facial redness can leave people feeling insecure about their complexions.
Although they may feel as if they’re the only people suffering from embarrassing facial redness, they’re not. In fact, rosacea is so common that we even did a blog series about it last year that covered its

The right products to heal your complexion
One of the biggest mistakes people make is to camouflage their redness with too much of the wrong products. They may apply several creams and serums that promise to address the issue, but contain ingredients that only make the redness worse. Further, they may cover the redness with heavy makeup foundations that only serve to clog the pores and irritate the skin.
The good news is there are several products available that heal and repair the skin while addressing redness and irritation. They contain natural and nature-inspired ingredients that work with at the cellular level to repair the skin from within.
Cleanser
Great skin begins with a thorough cleanse.
Benefit Clean Gentle Cleanser is perfect for people who suffer from rosacea. This mild cleanser is free of common irritants and influses antioxidants into the skin. It also removes dirt and impurities.
Mask
Detox Activated Charcoal Mask detoxifies the skin, removing all of the impurities and toxins that can cause rosacea to flare up. The mask contains both charcoal and clay and gently draw out and remove pore congestion and soothe the skin. It’s gentle enough to use up to three times a week; however, since your skin may be easily irritated, apply it as tolerated.
Serum
CPR Skin Recovery Serum calms, protects, and restores (hence the name) irritated skin to its healthy best. It contains powerful vitamins and antioxidants to reduce inflammation and heal damaged skin. It also neutralises redness with its natural green-hue. Apply it in the morning and the evening for best results.
Hydration
Mystic Hydrating Treatment is a gentle, lightweight moisturiser that soothes and hydrates even the most sensitive skin. It contains Deuterium Oxide (D2O), or heavy water, to protect the skin’s DNA and boosts its natural moisturising factor.
